About Us

Calvin and Kelly Rice have owned Rice Heating & Air Conditioning, Inc. for 35 years.  They are a family owned business and have lived and worked in this area for over 35 years. Calvin runs the day to day operations, meets with customers and keeps the Rice Heating Crew running smoothly.   Kelly has recently begun working in the office helping the staff with phones and paperwork, after 20+ years of successfully running a small home bakery.

Any free time they have is spent with their grandkids.  Between helping out with homeschooling, to having big family gatherings at their home, there is always a lot of fun and laughter.  Calvin’s motto is “pay it forward”….maybe you have been on the receiving end of a free coffee as you waited in line at one of the local coffee shops!

Brenna Dotson is our office manager. She oversees the daily operations in the office and keeps everyone in line! She enjoys spending time with her family, working in her garden, and making home baked goodies.

Jasmine Roderick works as office helper. She helps with date entry and answering phones. She enjoys baking and reading. One of her favorite activities is English country dancing, which learned while in high school. She enjoys spending time with friends and family

Darien Hyder-Gonzalez is one of our installers. He recently moved from an install helper to a full installer, picking up the trade quickly. When he’s not putting in your new equipment, he likes to spend his time with wife and go hunting

Chuck is the director of our HR (Herd Rider) department. His main focus is to “ride herd” on Calvin and to keep him on task.  Chuck is the real boss around here! He keeps the crew in line in the office or on the job. You’ve probably seen him riding around with Calvin or greeting you at the office. He highly encourages you to give Rice Heating a call for any of your HVAC needs! He also encourages treats!
